I'll tell you where the love is: all around me!
I just got home from another long day of rehearsals. I was having a deep, unexpected, but honest conversation with my girlfriend. I have to say that I haven't felt that vulnerable in a long time...maybe ever. I was amazed by the love I felt and how blessed I am to have her in my life. I also have a wonderful, supportive family (who are all planning on seeing PRAIRIE at some point!...right family? :).
And to top it off, I check my email this evening and have an inbox full of friends across the ocean with pictures, flags, memories, and of course, nutella! Thank you so much for thinking of me. I feel the love, really!
And where did you find such a great flag? I was over in Germany during America's independence day this past year (July 4th) and Ingolf was sweet enough to pick up a small flag for me. It was not easy to find! So, well done with that too!
Thank you for sending the pictures, Julia. Thanks to you all!
Hey Kevin!!
ReplyDeleteWhen Julia and I were talking to each other on the phone, we had the idea to make photos with the flag for you!I'm so happy that it worked!
Unfortunately I didn't have a chance to come to Hamburg to join the "1st-inofficial-german-kevin-massey-club-meeting"!But I was thinking of you and all the lovely club members all the time! And maybe I can come to the next club meeting :)
Thank you for sharing these emotions with us!I think it is a great feeling to have such a wonderful family and girlfriend..:)They give you energy and support you whenever you need them! That is great :)
I wish you a nice day and good luck for your rehearsals anymore!
Mella
p.s. Thank you Julia for these wonderful pictures :) well done :D
Hi Kevin,
ReplyDeletethank you for your heart-warming and honest blog. It's so important for all of us to have people who support us and trust in us. Nice to hear that you have found these people. I myself found them in the last 2 years, too and I'm really grateful for this fact.
I'm glad that you like our photos, it was really fun and we had such a nice weekend all together :)
Have a nice day everyone and enjoy your rehearsals, Kevin.
Kind regards,
Marietta

It made me glad - but I even don´t know you! But you are a person everybody has to like - before your blog I always heard that from the other girls, but now, I can read it with every post from you, that you are a heartwarming nice person - and all the love around you is your rewawrd for being like this!!! So thank you!!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a good night and may the love stay all around you!!!

Hey Kevin,
ReplyDeletewe had such a great saturday evening and so much fun. What has begun with a passion for Tarzan became kind of family for many of us. We are so delighted with the daily perfomance of the cast which leads us for short time into another world and won't get enough of it so fast.
Hugs, Kira

Dear Kevin!
ReplyDeleteI have read your entry this morning. Your words have touched me very much. Until now I didn't know at all what I should write to such loving and emotional lines. I am enormously pleased that you like the pictures and the message has reached you:
We miss you and stand fully and completely behind you! :)
I can imagine, that this kind of support and "love" is surely important and beautiful.
But the love and the security which you get of the family and the life-partner is much more important. Everybody needs these familiar people around himself. It donates so much strength and luck to you. You feel accredited in that what you do. And you know that it is right what you do. These people are there at hard moments for you. They share joy and affliction with you. Family is solid as a rock! :)
I am really pleased that you have exactly such people around yourself, Kevin! Hold them tight and never let them off!!!
The feeling of security and love -
the thought gives a smile on my lips.
I feel gratitude.
Gratitude for this feeling.
The feeling which I only feel in the midst of my family - pure luck. :)
Thank you for your open words. If you should come back to Germany, you are greeted by all of us with a lot of love and warmth. You can rely on it!!! ;)
Kind greeting to you, Julia
WOW!
ReplyDeleteI was impressed as well, when i saw this photo.
Kevin, isn't that amazing having a group of people in a foreign country thinking constantly of you?
You really should listen to them, your name is mentioned in almost every sentence,so funny and also very touching.
Honestly,it's time for coming back to Germany!
And it's wonderful to hear that you've somebody next to you who loves and supports and take you just the way you are.
I think, that's one of the greatest gifts you can get in life and it's very important be aware of that and never take it for grantet, don't you think?I`m sure, you agree.
I`m very happy for you!!!
All the best,
Tonia
Wow!
ReplyDeleteThat´s all I can say by all those emotional words. I´m a little speechless with all this.
Maybe because I´m going to a though time with my family at the moment, it´s not always easy being married for tweelve years and having three children ......
Nevertheless, I had a great time at our "1. Inoffical-German-Kevin-Massey-Fanclub-Meeting"! :))
Julia wanted to get little flags on a stick but we couldn´t find them.
So, I told her that I got a big one somewhere in a cardboard box in the attic.
It suprised me how easy it was to find and with it some old memories from my time as a teenager! :)
This flag was hanging on the wall of my room when I was a teenie!
I love the pictures we took and I´m glad you like them! The ones with Nutella are also funny and the horserace pictures on the steps of the Flora, too! :)
Do you recognize everyone on the picture? As there is no description of the photos, I´ll quick give you the names.
1. photo from left to right:
Franka (scarybush), Nina, Julia (Julsch), Kirsten, Mel, Kira, Marietta, Sarah
2. photo:
Julia, Franka, Marietta, Isabell, Martina, Nina, Kira, Armin, Birgit, Kirsten, Sarah
While I´m writing my comment, I´m listening to Lana Gordon´s song " Child in Time". I simply love it!
And I hope one day we´ll get the chance to put your cd into the cd player, Kevin! ;-)
So, have a nice day everyone!
cheers, Kirsten*
Thank you all for taking this great pictures! I love them! I wasn't there the evening, I was far away and the great "Tarzan-clique" surprised me too with a so kind gesture, I don't know what to say.
ReplyDeleteIt's great that you are so pleased about the pictures Kevin. It was a great idea to took them. Well done girls! Today all is very emotional on this blog but I think that's because of a good reason!
Well, it seems I wasn't the only one in the mood to share some feelings. Thank you all for your comments. Cherish those you love while you've still got them here on this earth.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful that you translate pictures (naming each person) and translate each other's blog comments, poems.... Kinda like a family, eh!
off to bed for me...
